We are Casia + Eric Fletcher... a husband and wife photography design duo working (scratch that) PLAYING in a little ol' town called Tucson, Arizona. Maybe you've heard of it? If not, what about Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe or Mesa... cause we "PLAY" a lot there too. We started this crazy thing called Purple Nickel Studio back in 2007 and before you ask you're just gonna have to call us to find out what the name is all about :P The goal was simple... to infuse our artistic backgrounds of photography, architecture and mixed media into as many people’s lives as possible and have a freakin' blast doing it!!!! We specialize in portrait photography, but because the word portrait is so insanely boring we call them FLIPSIDES. Our flipsides are furnished around on-location (mostly urban) settings and are filled with tons of personality, energy, laughing, crying (from the laughing), color, texture, did we mention laughing, hip attire and best of all natural lighting. Yep we love the sun... it's the best flash money can buy, but because Purple Nickel is sooooo cool we get to use it for free :) We are inspired by everyday details, miscellaneous crap and the unusual, but that's ENOUGH words... we'd rather let the photography do the talking.
