Living in downtown Tucson certainly has its perks. We’ve mentioned this several times before, so excuse the broken record, but we have met so many fabulous people because of it. It also doesn’t hurt to get out and mingle, attending as many social events as we can. Speaking of that, this is how we first met this lovely lady. Little did we know at the time, but we were neighbors. Tucson is the biggest, small town we know. For today’s headshot, we have the pleasure of featuring the hip, smarty-pants Jean. Check it, you’ll get that one in a sec, she graduated from Yale and has a master’s degree from Harvard. Yowsers! She’s been a teacher, tournament director, educational consultant and currently has taught thousands of individuals to play chess. See, know you get it … Jean recently accepted a new position and to our delight, recognized the importance of having a new updated headshot. More like deserved one. We can’t tout it enough how wonderful it feels to have an image of yourself that you can instantly share with your peers and feel proud of. It empowers you. The goal for her session was to showcase a witty, intelligent yet fun gal.
“I absolutely love the photos and am so grateful for everything you have done.” – Jean
It’s been five years since we last photographed this feisty family and we simply adore their unique connection. Something we can’t wait to create with our own budding family! Eeeekkk… that’s only a few months away. Typically we see our families every 2-3 years, so it was quite the shock to see their older daughter is now taller than me (Casia). Last time I was holding her hand while walking across the street. Time is flying by way too fast and we couldn’t be happier that they asked us to document their family’s growth again. It’s something we are very thankful for and it always reminds us why we do what we do. Sattler’s … you guys are so much fun and we can’t wait to see these proudly displayed within your home!
“We love your work. And, it is ALWAYS a good time with you two.” – Angi
There’s a first time for everything … A few weeks back we had the opportunity to photograph a mother/daughter session. We are so happy we did and think all moms should do this. Don’t get us wrong, we think all dads should too! Hint hint. Baby A was 5 months old and full of personality. It was a nice contrast to give all the attention to one kiddo. We were able to really focus on her different expressions. She warmed up to the camera pretty quick. What can we say, we know what we’re doing. We even had her giggling and nibbling on her toes. Those are the best kind of shots. We hope these images are the one’s she’ll cherish when older and really appreciate seeing these tender moments she shared with her mom.
“The pictures are beautiful!!! Ideas are pouring into my head on how to display these.” – Emily
