Third round of photographs from ‘The Click’ outing in Sedona.  Emily & Elliot…everyone called them E & E.  They were such good sports.  We asked them…actually made them :) …climb down the banks of a fairly steep wash to get these shots.  Now remember Emily was wearing a borrowed cute white jacket.  Red soil…white jacket, not a great mix.  That’s why Eric held it most of the time.  Again he’s always holding peoples stuff…what a trooper! Thanks you guys for trusting us…but it was sooooo worth it!  I can only describe these photos as gentle…if that makes any sense. They are a beautiful couple and it was a pleasure to photograph them!!!

Second round of photographs from ‘The Click’ outing in Sedona.  Mickey & Jesse were awesome…but they should be!!! Jesse is Joe Pangburn’s brother, so he’s gotta have lots of practice :) .  We shot in this little park area down by the creek…their suggestion BTW.  It rocked and so did the strange substance that ended up all over my clothes from the rollin’ around in the grass.  Nobody could figure out what it was and I’m not sure I care to know…really!!!  Funny thing was, all the other photographers that saw it though it was part of my clothing design.  GO FIGURE!  We love to shoot couples so we of course had a blast.  Mickey & Jesse are soooo photogenic and both hammed it up…as you will see!!!  Chess anyone?

The other day we received a little gem in the mail.  To our delight it was from a local Tucson company called ‘Originate’ (http://www.originatenbm.com/). They specialize in eco-friendly natural building materials.  And hey since were remodeling our house completely we decided to check em out on our day off.  So that’s what we did!  They were profiling this ecosmart fireplace…and Eric was instantly in LOVE.  I think he loves them more then me @ the moment. Ha. No seriously.  We’ve been searching for a cleaver solution for our empty brick old fireplace. Their eco-friendly because they’re fueled by renewable modern energy called ‘denatured ethanol’.  Burns clean & is maintenace free. Ethanol is an absolute alcohol, produced by fermentation of sugars orginating from agricultural & forestry products; mainly sugarcane, potatoes, bananas, beetroot and recently from cereals such as wheat.  It’s also greenhouse compliant which results in clean emissions.  Wowie…now we just have to save the big bucks for ours & how do we decide on a favorite.  What’s your’s?  Click on the images below to be taken to the site.

Yay!  The Phillips family portrait session (what we like to call a me2) is finally up!  Hopefully you guys didn’t kill the site by constantly refreshing your browser for updated shots. Ha.  That’s ok…we love that our clients are on here all the time & always showing their love.  Jack & his family just finished building their dream home here in Tucson, Arizona and decided it was the perfect location for a shoot!  I was more thrilled that the newly concreted pool wasn’t pebble tec’d yet…I think they thought I was looney for mentioning the idea.  Well little did they know I was totally inspired by the raw material.  And to think they will never ever have shots like this again.  The weather was perfect, Jenna (big sis) was awesome, and well the boys….mmmmmm…yep they were BOYS. Twins who are completely different from each other.  Just when I thought one was gonna be trouble it turned out to be the other way around. Trickly little buggers.  Cute though!  Toni is an amazing mother & very patient…how she does it I don’t know?.  Oh and grandma was in town so we snaged a few shots.  The one with her & Jenna I just love.  Thanks again Phillips family for sharing your new pad with us and we hope to venture on to many many more exciting shoots in the future!

This is the first of many rounds of photographs coming up!  Jenna & Cody were our morning guinea’s.  And boy did they do a great job.  It kinda takes a little bit to warm up but I think these two did perfect.  Maybe I’m just speaking about my own experiences and needing to get the creative juices flowing…it’s kinda like ‘where do we start?’.  Well they kicked in within 5 minutes.  I got to try out some ideas I’ve had spinning around in my head…shooting up at the sky (especially with all the sycamore trees), microscopic close ups, and of course the silly goofy laughing shots!  I haven’t photographed much with late morning light so either this day was a rare experience before the storm hit Sunday or Sedona always has this exceptional light?.  At this point I’m just ecstatic with the outcome.  I chose this couple first soley on Jenna’s vintage gown which I absolutely love. I’m a girl who craves unique one of kind looks and she definitely has it.  The veil was the icing on the cake!
