Wowie…we have been mucho busy around here in purple nickel land…and we’re LOVIN’ IT!!!  Next up on the blog is a fun little side project I wanted to share that I did with my sister Julie! We haven’t created a flipside photo shoot since January and we’ve both been really really really itchin’ to do another.  Check out our last one HERE.  I think we have about 3+ additional session ideas to orchestrate…now we just have to find the time, vehicle, vintage attire and locations.  This time around we decided to include ‘Bella’ (her ewok).  Julie found her @ the Phoenix Humane Society about a year ago.  And she is the newest permanent addition to her pack. Yes I said PACK…as in dog pack (my sis has also recently decided to volunteer with the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and foster dogs who need some care before going up for adoption).  Hint…hint…you’ll see more adorable furry friends in the larger post coming soon.  Julie has always been the animal lover.  More like ‘obsessed’ with any creature that walks this planet…LOL. Seriously.  Growing up we probably spent more time playing outside and taking care of our 4 legged friends than our Barbie dolls.  Well don’t get me started on Julie’s fascination with Barbie dolls either.  I won’t embarrass her like that…you’ll just have to ask her yourself!  Can’t wait to show you the rest of the session…I’m also gonna have a lil contest to see who can guess the number of different pups!

Meet Kylee from one of our high school senior flipside sessions!  When I was editing through her fabulously fun images I just knew I had to get this one up ASAP.  She probably thought we were a lil nutty for spending a few minutes in front of some random puddle of water in an empty stinky alley…HA…NOPE!  I call it a quirky detail that normally one might over look or pass by.  But not Eric & I.  We’re constantly looking for the unexpected.  That’s why most clients hire us…for our eyes and crazy creativity that they could never dream up.  Her bright PURPLE hip sneakers totally make this shot.  Just wait til you see her lime green…YES lime green iPod.  She totally get’s our BRAND!.  Thanks Kylee for such a lovely time and trusting us while we walked all throughout downtown Tucson.
