This week Alison of Modern Phoenix: The Neighborhood Network released ‘Summer of Sandblasting 2010‘. An article featuring three Arizona homes where dare I say the owners were gutsy enough to get their exterior block blasted! No Literally. And Eric & I were one of the nutso’s along with Brandon Gore of ‘Gore Design Studio‘ and John Covington of ‘JC Studios‘. Crazy… I know. But in a good way. Hey did any one besides me notice that we all have ‘studio’ in our company name?. Hmmmmmmm… now it’s just one more thing we have in common besides the mighty home remodels. Ok so if you haven’t heard about our project or seen it YET I think you’ve been living under a rock or our old scummy paint?. Ha. But if you are one of those peeps who lurves seeing home remodel projects and especially the bad ass ‘before vs. after’ shots then you MUST read this article. There is even a video that John shot that clearly captures the noise nuisance of the whole experience. Every time I watch it chills go down my body as I remember our same exact ordeal. Let’s just say that I have never ever seen Eric that nervous and apprehensive. He just kept saying ‘I want them to be done already!‘. He said it every second. It got old. Yeah we totally thought our neighbors were gonna be peeved about the ‘hissing-like’ noise and not to forget the blowing dust. Our neighbors have a pool… yikes. But seriously in the end we couldn’t be HAPPIER! It surely is a story to tell from years to come. Click on the image to check out the whole article!
Thanks Alison for showing all the MoPho’s that it’s truly worth it in the end!!!

So excited about this blog post! First up… one of our favorite images from 2010 was selected to be displayed by Design Aglow!!! Yep that’s right! They just released a new set of 10 photoshop art actions called ‘Daydream Believer‘. They are sooooooo ‘buttery vintage’ they’re yummy. Yes I just said that! And you can see all the fabulous looks from our image below that’s proudly showcased on their site. Too cool! Finally my sister Julie has received her fame and isn’t just plastered all over our site. But then again she’s all over this post… dang it!!!

We’ve been dying to show you these next few images for months now. We finally… yes, get this… finally installed my sister’s birthday gift in her cozy cute home. This 5 canvas MOD art wall is so crazy fun and is such a RAD statement. Here’s to going BIG + BOLD…

The 5 canvases are custom sizes ranging from 22×32 the largest to (2) 16×24′s, a 10×16 and finally the pano at 16×38!!! It’s a large set up once it’s all together almost 4ft x 3ft. It’s so AWESOME in person!
