Everyone met Liz… our new neighbor at the studio! Crazy story I have for you all. When Eric and I were fixing up our shared entrance a few weeks ago at the studio we decided to enhance the mini entrance we share with our neighbors who run the ‘Pet Finder Foundation‘. At first we had only planned on doing repairs to our own door/walls but as we began to move further we realized just how badly we needed to fix up the shabby entryway including the guys next to us. So we did exactly that! Yeah even before truly meeting them all. That’s how we roll…lol. So we bought the same trim, painted all the walls a bright white, added an industrial black paint to the casement window trim and even took down the simple black .99¢ suite numbers that existed. Well no more.  We of course replaced the puny guys with shinny BOLD modern numbers in a nickel finish that stand off the wall about an inch. SWEETNESS! Soon you’ll see the pics of our space and it’ll all make sense.

So back to my story (which are never short it seems), as we finished the repairs all in one weekend because we didn’t wanna disrupt any ‘normal’ working hours I also decided to write them a little note that I placed perfectly on top of the new suite numbers. The note read something like this… ‘Hello Neighbors, We just wanted to say ‘Hi’ and introduce ourselves…we are your new neighbors Casia + Eric Fletcher! This weekend as we began to fix up our entry we decided to also fix up yours. We are not asking for any compensation but this is merely a gift to you. We hope you like the new improvements and we can’t wait to get to know you all better!‘. Yes I actually kept it short + sweet (for once).

Well a few days later the introductions were finally made and we too even received a nice little note that said the following ‘Casia & Eric… Thank you so much for the freshly painted walls and brand new numbers! It was such a wonderful surprise! We look forward to meeting you in person! Best wishes! Liz, Lisa, Devon and Sally.‘ Awwwwwww and the friendship began…LOL. Once we all started chatting more and getting to learn what the heck we all did in our studio spaces it came about that Liz needed a fresh + new publicity shot with her mighty dog Ziggy. She does a lot of press releases + newsletters and just plain ol’ needed a great photograph.  We booked it, photographed it and below are the results of her super FUN ‘get faced’ mini session!!!

Class of 2011! Meet our SUPER smart + friendly + smilie Senior Rep Lauren! We had a blast hanging out with her and she was up for anything we suggested. YESsssssssss! Of course we totally LOVE IT when this happens. Oh she also brought numerous outfits, adorable shoes and even her bright blue cruiser that had a basket up front to hold her favorite books.
