YAY… another round of behind the scenes. I’ve been itchin’ to blog these and with our fall season winding down I was able to find some time. As you can see we were still wearing summertime clothing in October. Don’t hate. Actually it was pretty warm and we were sweatin’ balls. But Elizabeth + Myles were troopers in their layers. Thanks guys for roughing it out with us. Thankfully we found some really inspiring spots that seemed to take our mind off the heat. Ok maybe not since we made them climb all over the place. Totally worth it though because these are some of our favorite bridge/underpass shots. And I can’t forget to mention the abandoned metal building that was full of hidden gems. Love it when you could photograph in one area for hours upon hours and still have endless ideas. One of our many goals for 2012 is to challenge ourselves to shoot in one spot/building or wall for an entire portrait session. Anyone else done this?

It’s been FOREVER since we’ve posted some behind the scenes shots! So we’ll just get right to it because there’s a lot…

So happy my sister Julie came along to be the dog walker + wrangler!

We found Eric’s camera bag at a 2nd hand vintage store & our friend Erin customized the interior to hold a camera body + lens + gadgets.

It was a jungle out there!

Testing the light and shadow.

We love photographing in a parking garage because we can escape the Tucson heat. Plus there’s always great hard light coming in at all angles.

Palm trees in the desert?… yes it’s a bizarre concept.

Gotta love the height in the hallways of our new place!

Notice how lil Cora has her foot on her dad’s… so cute!

Making airplane sounds to get Cora’s attention. One of my many talents!

Below are some client captured iPhone images of us in action. It’s rare that we’re both in the shot. Thanks Ryan!
