We are soooooooooooooo proud to showcase this newborn session! It’s a terrific feeling to see our clients, turned friends, grow their family. You all might recognize the Trayte family from last fall. Well, when they told us they’d be adding another little bean to pot, we secretly thought a second shoot was a MUST. We were of course thrilled when they asked…. and we couldn’t be happier with the results. On a side note, we’re really loving these residential shoots. It’s the perfect opportunity to show off our client’s decor style. It also helps illustrate the story and amplifies their personalities. It’s creative overload!
Plus everyone gets to walk around in socks (including us), how fun is that?
Seven day old baby Rainer was an absolute delight to photograph and big sister Cora totally hammed it up (again). Auntie Kendall even made an appearance with her very own adorable ‘furry’ child. And everyone knows how much I (Casia) love to photograph the four-legged kids. We’d like to send our sincerest congrats to the Trayte family on another
little BIG miracle, we love you guys!
Thanks Ryan for capturing this shot of us in action!

Pretty much every day, we are reminded how lucky we are to do what we do. We love that we get to meet our potential clients together, photograph together and present the images together. This is probably very rare for most married couples (ALWAYS being together) but it’s how we roll. It’s EXTREMELY rewarding. Especially when we get the opportunity to photograph the growth of our Purple Nickel friends. Speaking of friends, I’m sure most of you remember the Murphy family? Their last session took place in the fall… Well they now have another excuse for a portrait session… Yep another bun in the oven, girl #2!!! Her name is Emerson and we couldn’t be more thrilled to add another girl to our crew. If you know us well and follow us on Instagram then you’ve seen a ton of snap shots of big sis, Harper. Some people who haven’t seen us in a while thought she was ours. Hee Hee! Yep we can’t get enough of her. Scroll down below and you’ll see why…
We also want to give a BIG thank you to Maynards Market for allowing us to have fun inside and beat the heat. If you haven’t stopped in yet you’ve gotta. We’re there practically every day. They have fresh pastries from Frogs Organic Bakery, yummy coffee and daily lunch specials. This is also where Saturday’s Tucson Farmers Market is held!

So Susan… remember that time you said over and over how challenging it was going be to photograph little Elise (who’s 18 months)? Well it wasn’t! Honestly we have yet to meet a little one who we are not holding by the end of the session. It’s kinda our thing to become their buddy. Oh and prove the parents wrong.
They WILL giggle, they WILL jump, they WILL run all over the place and finally CRACK a smirk. We will be ready!
PS – WE ARE incredibly thankful for such wonderful clients who get what we do and continue to help spread the word. We take great pride in creating a truly custom experience for each and every one of you. THANK YOU Sara, again for shouting it from the roof tops and introducing us to the Selvy Family!!!
