We hear often from our clients how aware they are of the importance of updating their headshot. Despite this awareness, updating this crucial business tool always seems to land on the back burner. Life gets in the way. We get it! But then something comes up … a featured publication, a special award or an interview for a new job. It’s the eleventh hour and now they are forced to send in that snap shot taken 10 years ago, or worse yet, a phone pic taken outside (in bad light) minutes before sending it off. Don’t get us wrong, sometimes that’s all you can do.

These snap shots are “do-able”, but is it THE shot that’s going to get you recognition, tons of compliments and have you stand out from the crowd? Doubt it. This is why investing in yourself every few years with new professional headshots is incredibly important. It does wonders for your self-confidence and who doesn’t like that? You now welcome the inevitable last minute request to submit your photo. In fact, you seek out places to use it. We think it’s about time you give yourself some much needed attention.

For today’s headshot we have the pleasure of featuring the outgoing and very easy to talk to Brandy. She’s been following us for quite some time and finally decided to put herself first. Of course we obliged! The goal for the shoot was to showcase a fun, approachable, young professional.

I think we nailed it!

“I just want to thank you guys again for such a great experience, it was incredibly empowering to do something like this for myself and to be able to trust you within minutes of meeting with presenting me as more ME than I even know how to do. I sincerely appreciate your talents.” – Brandy

Just because you’ve collaborated once … doesn’t mean you have to stop. Kids grow, clients change careers, new projects evolve, or people just get bored. Any of these scenarios is fine with us! There’s nothing better than teaming up with a past client again. We love being a part of their family’s growth, or for this instance, their creative growth. The client has already built a rapport and trust with you. They understand your vision and you understand theirs. They patiently give you the time you need and know the end result before a single photograph is taken.

For this headshot session we have the pleasure of featuring the uber-creative HA|RU duo, AKA D+D (Darci and Dale). This will be our third photographic adventure together, you may remember this one. You could say they are addicted to PN! But we like to think it is just a mutual love and understanding of one’s craft. Yeah that’s it. The goal for this go around was to showcase this team in their environment, highlighting their architectural work, killer craftsmanship and just plain ol’ coolness.

One of the best decisions we have ever done is re-locating to downtown Tucson. Our loft and work studio are now only a mile from one another. This has given us a ton of opportunities to meet and mingle with other like-minded people. We kick ourselves in the butt for not doing it sooner! We were made to live in this community and are now surrounded by other young professionals, many with families, who inspire and motivate us. They just plain get it. They want equal opportunity, a healthy ‘green’ oriented lifestyle, better ‘life’ education for their children and plenty of coffee. That sounds good… we’ll take that! Looking back it’s hard to imagine the lifestyle we were stuck in. We didn’t know the majority of our neighbors, let alone talk to them. We didn’t take care of our bodies the way we should. We hated being disconnected from where we knew the action was. The list goes on an on… We attribute ALL of our success to the people we have surrounded ourselves with and feel nothing but gratitude. We have come A LONG WAY and will never look back!

For today’s headshot, we have the pleasure of featuring the inspirational green-goddess herself, also know as Mel of From Here to Whole. We were introduced to her by a good mutual friend. Ryan, who is also designing her new web presence, encouraged her to hire us. He knew we would capture the real Mel. Ryan, along with his wife Sheena and two rugrats, are a testament to the power of surrounding yourself with like-minded people. They have helped shape who we are today. We wouldn’t have met, had we not become involved with our local community. Mel has also experienced a personal transformation filled with positive changes. Her health coaching work inspires many and lets us know that we are on the right path, living healthier happier lives. SIGN US UP!

“Let’s drop some phat hyperbolic-sounding beats, shall we? I’m blown away. These photos are, to use an overused word, amazing. Truly more than I could’ve ever hoped for. I’ve no doubt the images will add legitimacy to my online business presence, and you can’t put a price on that. From every corner of my heart, thank you.” – Mel
