Ohhhhh boy did we have a glorious time shooting the Bowen’s family portrait session. Photographing them for the second time, we knew it would need to be exceptional. No pressure, right?. A few days before the shoot Eric and I scouted some new locations down in Elgin. We instantly became giddy when we found these. After teasing the family with a few instagram shots (cause that’s how we roll), they too became inspired. It’s pretty cool to hear that our client did an impromptu shopping trip after seeing our snapshots. Totally sweetened the deal! But the cherry on top was the crisp winter sunlight, slight breeze and little traffic (well almost). We photographed mid-day, which is totally unheard of in AZ and most shy away from it. We welcomed the challenge.
