BOMB IT!!! We were in graffiti + concrete BLISS with the Miller family. Once we saw how vibrant their outfits were we took FULL advantage of downtown Tucson’s new textures + outdoor art. It’s always evolving and we never know how long it’s going to stay up! Let’s just say, we were ecstatic to finally get to shoot it! I think the kiddos got a kick out of it more then we did.

The Himes are one of our favorite families… no really they are!!! Way back when we started our company they were the first family who completely ‘got us’ as artists. Little did they know in 2008 they were the pioneers who helped us discover and develop our custom portrait experience. Eric and I decided to implement many of our company ideas + beliefs regarding how we wanted the client journey to unfold with the Himes. We had unbelievably rewarding results. Not only did Sara and Tim trust our creativity during the shoot, they let us experiment no matter how cuckoo the ideas seemed. They were in for the whole ride. We can not thank this family enough for helping us form our foundation. Not only did they inspire us to move forward with our ‘out of the box’ personal experience, they gave us the hope and the courage we needed to succeed. We are so grateful and honored to once again capture a tiny piece of their life.

“Three years ago Purple Nickel did the most amazing job with our family photos. Since then, we added another member to our family and needed some updated artwork and bragging material. When we decided we wanted to have our family captured in time once again, there was no question in our minds that we would ask Casia and Eric to help us. This could prove to be a challenge- capturing two adults, a 6 year old and a one year old still learning to walk but Purple Nickel did it with ease! We wanted a different look this time around, something that looked a little less ‘Arizona’ and a little more ‘Wide Open Spaces’. Casia and Eric scouted the perfect location and it went amazingly. The way they worked with our family and ideas sharing their knowledge and experience. We now have the most personal, fantastic artwork of our boys hanging in our home and for that we will be forever grateful.
